The D610 is the exact same as the D600 but with a new shutter mechanism that boosts continuous shooting and adds a 'Quiet Continuous' mode. The only other upgrade is an improved auto white balance system.

Just like its almost identical-twin the Nikon D600, my D610 is my favorite Nikon full-frame DSLR because of its extremely high technical performance, superb ergonomics and small price, size and weight.
