Night Slash would probably still not be used by anybody since Knock Off is such a good move. Psycho Cut on the other hand will be a far more reliable STAB option for physical Psychic types that didn't get Psychic Fangs.

Oct 9, 2022 · Night Slash is better than pursuit imo, considering when leveled up you can get heals off of the attack helping with Absol's sustain much more. Second skill choice is down to preference, but I go sucker punch to catch runaway enemies and for the invincibility you get if hit during the wind up of the skill.

It is a 95 base power move vs crunch at 80 and night slash at 70. Each move has something unique about it. Crunch has a higher chance to flinch, night slash crits more, and foul play uses your opponent’s attack stat instead of yours.

Flower Trick is a good move but night slash gives meow drastically better objective shred which is a huge boon. Makes its farming much quicker and allows it to solo objectives in very little time if it’s left alone. Night Slash also allows meow to brawl with defenders fairly well.
