Yun Hau’s research is focused on the development of novel photoactive semiconductors (particles and thin film) for photocatalytic and photoelectrochemical processes.

Yun Hau Ng is a professor in the School of Energy and Environment, and the director of Low-Carbon and Climate Impact Research Centre (LCCIC) at City University of Hong Kong. He received his Ph.D. from Osaka University (under supervision of Prof. Michio Matsumura) in 2009.

My research focuses in the area of alternative and renewable energy through the approach of catalysis - namely photo (electro) catalysis, electrocatalysis and carbon (thermal) catalysis.
