Dec 26, 2020 · The 5125 has an old Ortofon cartridge and not sure about the 5040. I'd plan on swapping out the belt on both, and likely getting it serviced. Which one is likely more reliable and repairable?

Jan 29, 2014 · I am looking at a NAD 5125 semi automatic turntable but can find almost no reviews or such about it. All I know is it was made in the mid 80s before the Monitor Series, and was the last NAD turntable before the 533 of the late 90s.

Aug 5, 2012 · A Dynavector 10X5 is a MC cart that will work with a MM input of your phono stage / amplifier. wonderful sounding cartridge. there's also the Ortofon Bronze, AT150mlx & Denon DL110 which will suit a MM input. don't skimp, there's a huge improvement to be heard going up to the next price bracket.
