the Gecs pit and the Garden pits I experienced recently were Astroworld levels of dangerous where like I physically could not breathe at certain points because people were piledriving in waves of motion and some people were legit slamming into me with their entire bodyweight. all of these people were kids for sure and clearly did not know how to mosh.

Was the biggest fucking pit I've ever seen, it was absolutely insane. It was also at a festival so that helps. One of the best things about festivals imo is the pits. You never have the mosh pit ninjas, and when they try they're usually instantly laid out and carried away from the pit. Checkout Midnight Mosher on FB for mosh pit videos.

Jan 17, 2023 · As long as you build a pit and the wall between the pit and the crowd is in for it to act as an effective wall, there’s really no problem. Put etiquette 101. But if you don’t have enough willing participants to play all the roles necessary for a safe mosh pit, just leave it alone.

Festival mosh pits are always a lot bigger and a lot more violent (looking at you, Down moshpit at Bloodstock 2014).
