Jan 2, 2025 · Mikey & Mel’s original location in Fulton, though relatively new, is a defiantly old-fashioned suburban deli: gut-busting sandwiches, a pickle bar, placemats decorated with a corny “Jewish Zodiac” of delicatessen specialties, and many styles of crumbly cookies and cream-filled pastries in a fridge case up front.

Mikey Dowling was a carpenter who worked for Zatanna, making props for her show. When Zatanna fought Brother Night during a night when she was supposed to have a show, she magically dressed up Mikey to look like her and step in for her.[1]
