Feb 6, 2025 · Mia Falls (not visible, obviously) is at the outflow end of the lake (middle ground the photo). The falls themselves are not easy to photograph with an ordinary camera. From the ridge, going up to Mia Lake, they are obscured by trees. At the base of the falls, you are looking up a long way at falling water.

Mar 24, 2025 · I have hiked both routes - Bedwell to Della Falls and Flower Ridge to Della Falls. Two years ago we hiked from Bedwell to Cream Lake and up the snow pack to the base of Septimus. From here you go east across the scree slope to the east side of Love Lake. Come down via a dry creek bed to the lake shore and around to the Della Falls trail.

Mar 26, 2025 · From the campsite in the valley bottom, I have hiked up to Love Lake on a good trail (best views of the Falls, Della Lk and Nine Peaks). As well, I have climbed up the left side of the Falls to reach Della Lk and it is pretty much a vertical bushwhack. You can expect snow in the valley bottom below the falls especially this year.

Feb 28, 2025 · We head out into a very strong headwind for a 4K trip to the falls. The other paddlers with us have paddled a canoe 3 times (twice to practice, and this trip is 3). Anyways, these guys did incredible. Easily maintaining a decent pace, and paddling upwind and downwind in 2-3ft chop. The trip to the falls was awesome.

Most reports for this peak are from skiers and figured it would be similar to ZOA. but was pleasantly surprised by the views and the terrain. Trailhead is @ the falls lake turnoff. Pic below is from the car, Thar looms in the background. Thar for the most part is unmarked.

Dec 8, 2024 · There is a supposed waterfall between Emperor Falls and Falls of the Pool (can anyone confirm this?) There is a possible set of cascades on Hargreaves Creek below Hargreaves Lake (also needs confirmation). Toboggan Falls is another. There is supposedly a waterfall at the inflow of Kinney Lake and one falling off Mt. Robson down towards the lake.

Feb 6, 2025 · I spent the day doing some work, and then finally decided to get away and do a nature hike because it was so nice. I decided to do a little exploration of the American Creek Falls, off of the American Creek FSR. I put on my hiking boots, grabbed my camera, had to dump all the previous pics etc, and rush out the door.
