How do I even fight Magnamalo? : r/MonsterHunter - Reddit
Jul 6, 2022 · Magnamalo is one of the few monsters in base Rise who can keep up with the player, I would suggest running Evade Extender 1 or 2 if you aren't already, specially in Demon and Archdemon mode it's insane mobility and let's you get out of the way of attacks more easily.
The end credits after the Magnamalo fight feels really out of
In a similar vein, Magnamalo thrashed me in the demo, but I fought him enough to reliably kill him in the demo. And once I came across him in the full game, I absolutely thrashed him, and the credits rolled for a fight that I felt was anticlimactic, but I had sabotaged my "immersion" in the story by thrashing Magnamalo for days in the demo ...
What is your opinion on Magnamalo? : r/MonsterHunter - Reddit
Nov 5, 2022 · The fight itself is obnoxious. How the hell do I beat magnamalo : r/MonsterHunter - Reddit
Magnamalo is what I consider a "dueling" monster - you have to learn its patterns and get it down on how to counter and dodge, then push the advantage when it makes itself open to attacks when it misses. Whenever it has hellfire surrounding it, keep the pressure up.
Magnamalo feels way harder than every other monster I've
Magnamalo in Rise is the hardest for us alongside Tigrex with his bs hitboxes. I have barely used Recall Kinsect until I had to face Magnamalo. The good side is, albeit not flashy, it's way more useful to keep you alive, and when you transition to Sunbreak there's a lot of attacks you want to make sure to avoid, so it was good Magnamalo made me ...

Magnamalo’s canines are likely the same, brittle, and this is backed up by it rarely ever using its jaws in attacks, preferring instead to headbutt hunters. Claws: In conjunction with the aforementioned saber teeth, big grappling claws would be near mandatory to give these teeth any possibility of usage.
