Jul 31, 2023 · I appreciate Madden for being a game that has marginally improved in the past 8 years. This weekend I played Madden 23 on the PS5 and it felt identical to Madden 21 on the PS4 (last one I played.) To say that you’ve not missed anything in the past 2 years is not an exaggeration. The game still feels and plays the exact same.

Maybe they’ll go with a bit of a throwback name and call it Madden 2025. Madden 2005 was the last title to have the full year in the name so maybe they could do a early 2000s theme on the cover and for a two decade anniversary just go back to the basics for a chance of pace.

Jul 21, 2024 · Madden only allowing 5 logo options may be a licensing contract thing, same as the inability to change names of generic player rosters in Team Builder. It sucks, but I think in comparison to the amount of hours that people had to put in to get accurate names and numbers in previous games, this is a better deal, even if it isn't the perfect deal.

Jan 24, 2022 · Madden doesn’t really have a lot of compatibility with the Switch, unless they did a cloud version. The Switch’s native online suite is pretty rough, and the hardware would probably need EA to manage 3 separate versions of the same game (Switch, last-gen, current-gen).
