Dec 27, 2020 · I bought a new Macbook Pro 16" and a new XtremeMac Type-C docking station. I wanted to use two external monitors by connecting them to this docking station like i flawlessly did on my 2012 Macbook. The displays are connected by HDMI and Displayport and are both from LG (same type).

Jan 3, 2025 · I had the lid closed -- the theory being my 2 displays will be my two monitors rather than the laptop and the monitor. Unfortunately I can't connect them directly to the laptop as I don't have USB-C connectors for either but I'll try disconnecting and reconnecting them. Thank you!

However, if I start bootcamp utility it tells me that it will erase the Windows partition before I even get to the dialog allowing me to download the bootcamp support files.

I also have no idea how you spent close to 6000 USD on a MacBook (assuming you mean MacBook Pro or MacBook Air as you can't currently buy a MacBook).
