Welcome to the MSU BSU. We are excited that you are here and that you are interested in finding out more about who we are! The BSU is a student-led campus ministry and an official MSU student organization. Because we are the Baptist Student Union, everything that we do is based off of Baptist doctrine.

Students are now able to purchase a reserved parking space in the BSU parking lot for the Fall 2022 semester.

The 39-year dream became a reality, and it was dedicated on November 19, 1961. Because of continued growth, the center was expanded and renovated in 1984 and rededicated on Homecoming, October 13, 1984. In May of 2016, the BSU relocated to the current building located at 755 Bailey Howell Drive.

The Leadership Team consists of twenty-one student leaders, each of whom is responsible for a critical role in the overall mission of the BSU at Mississippi State.

“Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exists because worship doesn't.” John Piper Missions is a thread that runs through everything that we do at MSU BSU. This is not by accident.

The present facility has limited our scope, but not our vision to know Christ and to make Him known to college students on the Mississippi State campus and around the world. Additional space will help us reach more students and enhance the total ministry of the BSU. UPDATE ON CAPITAL CAMPAIGN To date, approximately $3.6 million has been donated.

Summer Missions Are you a student looking for somewhere to serve this summer?

Shorts or pants, a t-shirt, and a comfortable pair of shoes are very appropriate for the BSU.DAY ONE, BAND, RUSH, ROTC, etc.... If you are participating in Day One, ROTC, or Band and you will be arriving a little late, don't worry.
