The Mean 6 is the thirteenth episode of season eight of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and the one hundred and eighty-second overall. It marks season eight's midseason finale. The title is a play on "the Mane 6", the term used to collectively refer to the series' six pony main characters.

The Mane Six are the main characters of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. The group is comprised of Twilight Sparkle (the leader), Applejack , Rainbow Dash , Rarity , Fluttershy , and Pinkie Pie .

The Mean Six are the titular secondary antagonists of the MLP: FiM episode of the same name. They were clones of the Mane Six created by Queen Chrysalis and lead by Evil Twilight before they end up turning against her.
