Downloadable Content, also known as Add-ons or simply DLC, is added content made available to the original game via downloading. DLC for the Mortal Kombat series was introduced in 2011's Mortal Kombat and later continued in Mortal Kombat X, Mortal Kombat 11 and Mortal Kombat 1.

May 5, 2022 · Go to the MK9 game icon and press the Menu button (a.k.a. Start button). Now select "Manage games and add-ons". The MK9 icon will show up again, click on it. Now you can manually install the DLCs. If you have the Season Pass like I do, it won't be necessary to individually install the playable characters, just the SP itself.

Aug 18, 2023 · No, the DLC kharacters aren't available. The net code improvement packs are all still there though allowing you to still play MK9 online if you download them and anyone is still online.
