Jun 7, 2022 · Whilst 2008 technically is MCU Hulk I want to differentiate the two in this matchup. R1: MCU Hulk has composite feats from his previous versions such as Ragnarok Hulk and Avengers Savage Hulk. R2: Current MCU Smart Hulk …
Connections between Hulk 2003 and Hulk 2008? : r/marvelstudios
Sep 21, 2014 · It IS a reboot. One simple reason: TIH is in the MCU, 2003's Hulk isn't. Additional points worth considering: Hulk is produced by Universal, TIH is by Marvel Studios. Different origins. Talbot is dead in Hulk, but alive in the MCU. There's no denying that the original script of TIH was written as a sequel to Hulk, but it was rewritten.
2008 Hulk isn't as strong as people say : r/marvelstudios - Reddit
By MCU standards, it's a bad movie. It's an okay pre-MCU movie. First of all, the casting and/or direction of the actors is bad. I have loved Tim Roth since Reservoir Dogs and Four Rooms, but he does not pass as a Russian turned British elite soldier. He's so much better used in She-Hulk as the weird self-help guru. Edward Norton is way too ...
Is The Incredible Hulk (2008) Still a part of the MCU?
Nov 17, 2018 · It certainly isn't the BEST the MCU has to offer, Edward Norton has been replaced with Mark Ruffalo from The Avengers onwards, and a lot of the open plot threads have been left unanswered, but it has been occasionally referenced (such is the case with the reappearance of General Thaddeus Ross in Civil War and Infinity War).
2008: The Incredible Hulk and Avengers : r/Marvel - Reddit
Aug 27, 2022 · My headcanon is that The Incredible Hulk Movie (2008) took place in another universe, one where Bruce Banner looks like Edward Norton. In the main MCU, all the events from The Incredible Hulk happened, with the only difference that Bruce Banner looks like Mark Ruffalo. Only we didn't get to see that specific movie.
Hulk (2003) is unambiguously a Phase 1 MCU film : …
Jan 13, 2022 · I think the actual intention for TIH in 2008 was to present itself as both a sequel and a reboot: Sequel if the MCU didn't take off, but reboot if it did. And the opening is just an Evil Dead 2/Army of Darkness-style recap to go over the basics for new viewers before picking right back up where 2003 ended.
Confused by the Hulk Movies!! : r/marvelstudios - Reddit
Feb 22, 2022 · The Hulk [2003] is a film created prior to the conception of the MCU, and is largely disconnected from the main timeline. The Incredible Hulk [2008] is the second film released in the MCU, and was originally conceived as a sequel to the 2003 film. Which is why there are several points in the plot which could be used to link the two films.
The Hulk's CGI in 2008 is better than current Hulk
Jan 26, 2022 · The 2008 hulk feels more comic book accurate (just my opinion) & the MCU hulk is more “realistic” in terms of looking like Ruffalo . I just honestly hate how they did the MCU Hulk though , he’s just a comedic relief now which is sad.
So I'm confused because The Incredible Hulk film is about as
Nov 18, 2023 · It's about how Bruce became the Hulk. This was before the MCU. Then in 2008, after Iron Man 1, Edward Norton and Liv Tyler starred in The Incredible Hulk directed by Louis Leterrier, which was part sequel, part reboot. It's not an origin story so in that regard it follows on from the first. It's the second film in the MCU, between Iron Man 1 & 2.
Incredible Hulk (2008) vs MCU Avengers Endgame Trinity
Sep 1, 2022 · 2008 isn’t any stronger objectively speaking than Banner at any other point pre-Smart Hulk. It’s just the choreography and faster paced action did a better job at giving the scope of Hulk’s power providing an impression he’s stronger. Thor alone would be able to solo same as he did in Ragnarok
