I recently sell mine. Mbp 16 intel base model. For a mbp 14 base model. The main reason was the fear to die in any time and the heat. The fans kick in way to often even on normal tasks. And safari on intel just sucks. On m1 its like a new browser everything runs smooth.

Apr 4, 2022 · In the limited amount of audio ‘comparison’ I’ve done between them, I wouldn’t call the differences between them vast. But I do definitely hear a difference. The 16” has noticeably more/deeper low-end response to me. The 16” also seems to have a ‘wider’ sound stage all the way across to my ears.

I had an Intel 16-inch MBP and went down to 14-inch. The 16-inch was great but felt too big most of the time. I also hook the MBP up to a Dell D6000 for a triple monitor setup and it's been great because the 14-inch is portable around the house and I can use it anywhere. I actually bought the 16-inch because the 14-inch never came out in time.
