Messier 66 or M66, also known as NGC 3627, is an intermediate spiral galaxy in the southern, equatorial half of Leo. It was discovered by French astronomer Charles Messier [8] on 1 March 1780, who described it as "very long and very faint". [9] .

The M66 is a submachine gun developed by Heckler & Koch and chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. It was the standard submachine gun of the Imperial Army and the Imperial Guard during the Third Great War, replacing the Carl-Gustaf M45. M66 features a bright nucleus and well-defined spiral arms, which are rich in stars, gas, and dust. Its spiral structure is typical of a barred spiral galaxy, with arms winding outward from a central bar.
