Aug 25, 2023 · Long and short answer is: yes, they are very reliable. BUT there are some points that need attention. There's 2 versions of this engine which changed early 2001 iirc. 136hp with rotary injection pump. I owned one of these. Not the quickest but pretty reliable with one exception: once the engine exceeds 250 000km, the injection pump is a time bomb.
