M320 Grenade Launcher Module (GLM) is the U.S. military's designation for a new single-shot 40 mm grenade launcher system to replace the M203 [4] [5] for the U.S. Army, while other services initially kept using the older M203.

The M320 grenade launcher is the replacement for the Vietnam-era M203 as the US army's 40mm underbarrel grenade launcher while other services continue to use the M203. It was developed from the AG-C , with the XM320 prototype being almost identical.

Developed from HK’s famous line of single-shot 40mm grenade launchers, the lightweight add-on GLM (Grenade Launching Module) uses a fast and easy side-loading breech configuration. This feature, and the quick detachable design of the AG-C launcher, provide superior combat capability over existing M203-type grenade launchers.

The G36C is the most compact member of the G36 family; it was introduced in 2001, and differs in that it comes with a shorter 9" barrel (compared to 18.9" on the original G36 and 12.5" on the G36K).

Feb 21, 2021 · In addition to the M320, H&K’s markets their AG36 derivatives under the name AG-C. Unlike the AG36 and L123, these are designed to simply mount on a bottom picatinny rail, similar to the M320.
