Jan 2, 2015 · I am planning to tune up M117 117.968 205kw 560 engine from 1991. The plan is to install higher compression (10:1) pistons, new headers and complete exhaust, port an polish heads, possibly replace valves with bigger ones, and install free flow K&N filter. I am also thinking to replace or regrind the cams.

Jun 6, 2014 · I recall him saying dyno tuning sessions resulted in torque up at 449 ft/lb (607nm) @ 4210rpm which is a big improvement on the M117 300hp ECE/RUF @ 336 ft/lb (455nm) however in due course i will get all the dyno info to verify all this properly.

Sep 28, 2008 · It seems to date from the later 1980's and includes 124 details (therefore post 1986) and the M117 they refer to are 5.0 and 5.6 motors from the 126 series. Happy to scan the M117 details if you want them Cam and Des.
