Sep 8, 2024 · LZO came to the pickups for the 2023 model year The original 3.0 was the LM2. It was used in both pickups, and full size SUV. Pickups changed to the newer 3.0 -- the LZO, for 2023 model. For the SUV, the change from LM2 to LZO was delayed -- along with the SUV 'refresh', until the 2025 model year.

I don't know if the LZO is higher because it does not have tow mirrors, because the front end is more aerodynamic , it hasn't yet had 'winter fuel' or hasn't towed as much. Dec 11, 2024 · I would say it’s hardly an improvement if any my lzo made it 20,000 miles I have heard of them failing at 4,000 and 7,000 miles. Likely be corrected that is pure speculation, the fix for the transmission of an ecu update is a joke I hope they face a massive lawsuit and are forced to fix the modules correctly.
