Jan 4, 2010 · Hi, I'm new here and looking at doing a budget turbo lt1 build. I've looked the site over and most of the turbo builds I see are more that I want or can afford. Here is what I am thinking of. Short block: Stock 2bolt block with arp studs, stock crank, aftermarket rods, forged pistons (probably vms75 I don't think I will need 2618's)

Apr 21, 2009 · well a friend of mine, has the sts turbo kit on a corvette ls1 stock, just with larger injectors, tuned, fuel pump, and 3k stall converter, it launches hard and keeps pulling really hard on the end of 1/4, low 10s on the quarter with m/t drag radials. plus you get to keep headers and stuff if you already had them and would give a better performance on the turbo.

turbo exhaust manifold - LS1LT1 Forum
Jan 13, 2009 · Standard SBC and LT1 GEN I heads are not "D" shaped. However, The port spacing is the same. So other exhaust manifolds will bolt up. The bolt pattern and port spacing are the same. With the LT1 GEN II heads, If you wish to install an LT1 GEN II engine into a GEN I Camaro (67-69), you can just use your GEN I Exhaust manifolds or headers.
383 LT1 Turbo Build Advice | LS1LT1 Forum
Oct 19, 2012 · Okay, so I am in the process of building my LT1 into a 383 turbo (more than likely single, but not positive at this point). I just sent in my intake to get ported and will be getting new 23 degree ported and polished TFS heads. Also purchased a rotating assembly through Summit yesterday (ESP-B12106030L19).
