We keep her closed source because an eariler job of mine was taking down malicious bots (ones used for ID theft, or paedophila were common not so long ago) and they were based on ALICE. I'd rather not let our AI system be the next generation of these bots.

Aug 15, 2007 · Gimp itself does not save to PDF, but you can save it as an image and then import it to OpenOffice.org draw. .ai is a file for illustrator, which is a vector graphics program, and isn't compatible with GIMP (which is a bitmapping program). If I remember correctly, Photoshop does not save as .ai either (for the same reason as stated before).

Feb 22, 2009 · Locate the .ai-file in nautilus and drag it over to the terminal window. In the terminal window the full path to the .ai file should now appear behind convert. Add another space and type in the destination filename. E.g. file.jpg, file.csv, file.png or whatever you prefer.

At home I have a single 2560x1440 monitor. My laptop (which I use to connect to work as well) has a single 1920x1080 display.
