Goniopora growth | Reef2Reef
Apr 1, 2013 · I have a half inch lime green frag of goniopora on my frag rack in my 350g mixed reef. Alk is average of 8.7, calcium on the high side at 500, magnesium also high at 1500. I read that gonioporas like manganese. So, I'm dosing red sea Trace elements A-D which includes manganese. 30 ml every...

Oct 26, 2024 · Mine sits about 10 inches under a 400 watt metal halide. Very deep red color coralites and polyps, otherwise the rest of the coral is bone white. The bone white parts turn green in the shaded areas. Color is less intense in lower par. Interestingly enough whenever I frag it the frags turn mostly green with only a little bit of red.

Kessil A360X Re-Visited! New PAR data and NEW setup guide.
Aug 20, 2019 · The spectrum band remains well represented in 420-500nm ranges, while you can add in more white (green, yellow, orange) until it pleases the eye. Basically, unless I'm trying really hard to screw this up, I can set the color knob anywhere from 0-100% and trust that it's going to grow coral and meet my coral's energy needs (Kessil Logic).
Light spectrums for corals | Reef2Reef
Mar 15, 2019 · Some green wouldn't hurt (maybe 505nm LEDs)but can't state that they would be worth the trouble. The first commercial LED array (PFO's Solaris) had a few green LEDs and we were able to keep corals at low PPFD values. I've always *thought* the green light was at least partially responsible. There is no doubt that zoox can utilize green light.
