I have been a Toyota guy forever (2 tacomas and 2 corollas) so i'm looking for a slight upgrade. I am looking to buy used and my budget is around $20k.

On the short list: new TSX wagon (~3% of Acura sales and ~12% of TSX sales, with sales dropping on the wagon and way up on the sedans) 535xi wagon (~2008) A4 Avant (2009-2011)

I’m currently shopping and considering a Volvo V60 plug-in hybrid wagon, but I’d love to get something in the Lexus line that is not a small SUV. I wish small and mid size luxury wagons would make a broader comeback.

Sep 6, 2018 · I thought i saw Buick had one in the works too. I always wanted the IS300 sportcross but never found one. If Lexus made something like 4 door hatch/wagon with a V8 I'd be game. I always loved the Dodge Magnum especially when people threw a Charger front end on them but its not a Toyota/Lexus.

Apr 2, 2023 · A train of thought but, for some reason I can't help but wonder if Lexus will ever bring back the GS or at least make a successor. After seeing a lot of A6s, 5 series and E classes on the road, it would make sense anyone would think Lexus's proper equivalent to those sedans is the ES, but the ES's target aren't those 3 sedans.

Jun 25, 2022 · A new Lexus IS has long been overdue, but I swear that chaging priorities at Lexus probably internally scrapped a mk4 IS just before it got shown publicly, and in light of Akio Toyoda huge 10+ EV offensive on December 2021, changed the direction of Lexus as a brand to Toyota's EV flag bearer. I look forward to seeing this BEV IS in a few years.

Feb 18, 2023 · Shooting brake (sometimes referred to as a "shooting break") is a car body style which originated in the 1890s as a horse-drawn wagon used to transport shooting parties with their equipment and game. It usually has a bit more of a coupe bodystyle than a regular wagon, sometimes with only 2 doors. Volvo designed a gorgeous one about 10 years ago.
