The LAV II, also know as the ASLAV, is a derivative of the combat proven LAV I employed by the USMC designed to meet the requirements of the Australian Army. It features high mobility, a 25mm turret-mounted main gun, lightweight armor, reduced maintainability and enhanced availability to perform reconnaissance missions.
