Mar 26, 2023 · A Fiero with ~200hp and the 60 degree V6 firing order noise would be pretty great and should be achievable with a lower boost setup. I know the 60-v6 isn't a powerhouse but if you keep the goals realistic and don't push to hard it should be …

Big fast, Little money Fiero| Grassroots Motorsports forum
Apr 25, 2011 · the fwd LS4 5.3 also has the proper fwd 60 degree V6 bellhousing pattern, so no adapters would be needed.. the front of the cranksahft is a bit shorter than a regular LS engine and all the accessories are tucked in closer, too.. it might be fun finding a real manual trans that would hold up to it, tho, if that's part of the plan..
Researching an LS4 swap into my '98 Buick Regal... the bad idea …
Mar 6, 2018 · And if you think it's a pain to reach the sparkplugs on the 3.8L, wait until you shoehorn the LS4 in there. They are a pain to work on. And they are backed by a dodgy transmission. A tweaked 3.8L can make just as much power, and more, as an LS4 for less money, while being easier to work on.

Maybe even the last Grand Prix? Anyways, it has it's own auto trans that can barely hold it (GM had to de-tune the snot out of it).

I ran the E40 with a 2006 SSR calibration with my Fiero swap. I tried the Impala SS pedal with the SSR calibration, but it was a no-go. Once I purchased the right pedal, then I notice what was happening with the TPS voltages with the SSR pedal, the two TPS voltages went the same direction, not opposite.

Jul 10, 2012 · Conquest351 wrote: The GM F40 transaxle from the Cobalt SS bolts right up to the FWD LSx engine. Fiero guys have been doing that for years. In an AW11, awesomeness ensues. And that trans will grenade in somewhat quick order if you were to build the 5.3L. That, and there are already a few 5.3L fiero's running around.
