Aug 19, 2008 · All this info was compiled and verified by me from my personal collection of boards. If anyone has any comments/corrections/additions please let me know and I'll make any needed updates. Eventually I'll put this info up on my website, along with some additional info about the Konami-made daughterboard replacements (and perhaps some bootleg).
Konami 054986A Custom Sound Chip Repair | Museum of the …
Aug 19, 2013 · I know that the repair of this Konami custom sound chip is fairly well documented already. There are at least two or three threads here on KLOV detailing how it's done. Most people seemed to prefer the leaded through hold capacitor style repair, but I thought I'd give the SMT capacitors a try.

Konami-1 Pinout - Museum of the Game Forums
Apr 8, 2018 · I have a pic of an Adapter pcb that I found online in my Konami-1 info. I do not know original source of the pics. The adapter plugs in place of the Konami-1 and uses a 6809E and data decoding circuitry. I have not traced out the data decoding (yet). But I did trace out the Power, Address, Control/unknown power for both the Konami-1 and 6809E pins.

Nov 18, 2011 · The start button on your Konami harness is at position 10. However, not all Konami games use the start button. Sometimes they just use hit/attack at position 7. Below is the pinout for 3 and 4 players for X-men, notice how position 10 is blank. But 10 is actually the start button for other Konami games.
Konami PCB real/bootleg/other? - Museum of the Game Forums
Sep 22, 2016 · I have been looking for a Konami Yie Ar Kung Fu pcb. All the official Konami documentation I can find says this board should have an 18 pin Konami connector. However I have been finding quite a few boards with JAMMA connectors. Are the JAMMA boards bootlegs or just a later release? See the pics below. Thanks to the Konami fans out there for info.

Konami universal cab - Contra - Museum of the Game Forums
Jan 7, 2019 · OK. So once I found out it was a Contra cab, all the google hits started coming. Turns out this is a Konami Universal cab and is actually pretty cool. The monitor can be mounted in either vertical or horizontal configuration and at multiple different angles. I also read that there were at least three different games that they released in it.
Konami custom IC pinouts - Museum of the Game Forums
Apr 5, 2008 · While there I did the 053251 chip that assembles the graphics on Vendetta, X-Men, and Simpsons as that chip was in the manual as well. As I go through more Konami repairs, I'll pull chip pinouts from schematics and try to assemble ones that are not in the partial schematics or are but are missing signal pin designators.
