The New Rescue Squad was built by REV Group, Inc., KME Fire Apparatus, and is completely outfitted with all new modern equipment allowing the members of SFDFD to provide Auto Extraction, Rope Rescue, Water Rescue and any additional type of incident that would involve someone being trapped in, under, or on something.

After many hours of meetings and design the department ordered a brand new KME walk-in heavy rescue squad. The squad is custom designed by our members to best meet the needs of the community. Construction has started with a tentative delivery date in August.
