Kazuto Kirigaya (born Kazuto Narusaka) is the main character from the light novel and anime series Sword Art Online. He is also known by his user name Kirito. He was created by Reki Kawahara. Kirito is a teenager and was one of 1,000 people chosen to take part in a closed beta to test the video game Sword Art Online.
