In ‘Hanma Baki,’ he almost died when he lost a fight to Pickle and almost got himself eaten, losing only his leg and a portion of his shoulder in the process. However, in ‘Baki-Dou,’ Musashi Miyamoto fought and killed Kaiou Retsu.
