May 2, 2012 · I purchased an xray last week,and it arrived today.very strange engineering design.i like the front half of the chassis,but the entire buttstock assembly is very flimsy and doesnt interface rigidly with the reae tang of the receiver area .the whole back of the chassis feels like a wet noodle.i believe whole heartily that a choate tactical at one third the price is a way better choice.this krg ...

Feb 25, 2024 · Krg chassis have their own integral bottom metal, go with the aics mags Ctr is a nice do it all profile, and it goes well in an X-ray. My buddy is getting into more general lr shooting and that's the exactly setup I got him to go with. For a scope I'd look at Swfa 5-20hd, trigicon tenmile, anything from nightforce.

Nov 24, 2020 · I have the Oryx. Moved from an A5-ADJ Mcmillan, which I still have, and have not looked back. For me, I needed a removable magazine, which the A5 would had to have been inletted and I would have had to buy a DBM for my Savage 12 in 300 WSM.

Jan 5, 2004 · I'd vote grayboe. I had a KRG X-Ray at one point and sold it down the river. Never fit me well and the plastic grip and outer shell never felt quite right. I much prefer the feel of a stock. That being said, lots of people love the bravo and the aluminum frame is a great setup for accuracy. Guess it comes down to how it fits you.
