KCET (abbreviated "Community Educational Television") is a television station based in Los Angeles, California. For most of its existence, it was the primary PBS affiliate for the city since its founding in 1964 (six years prior to the switch from NET ), and the second most-watched PBS station in the United States.

Three KCET logos are stacked with three different color gradients in the black background. They are red-orange, white, and yellow-blue-green. A golden KCET logo are stacked with the other two semi-transparent KCET logo on the salmon-colored background.

A small KCET logo appears in the middle of the static TV, while the funky music plays. A happy face made with fruits appeared on the top right, then shapeshifts into an angry music instruments face on the bottom left, and turns back into a happy face made with dental products.

Primary: The KCET logo, shown in a Century Gothic typeface, is seen on the center of the screen. It is sandwiched between two lighter-colored duplicates of the logo. At the bottom, there is some text that reads "Los Angeles". Blue background, white KCET logo, red duplicates, and gold text.

KCET launched a new on-screen identity and a new slogan, Infinitely More, in 1997. A new font was selected and the letters "C" and "E" are connected together shaped like an infinity sign (∞).

This ident was used for Anne of Green Gables: The Animated Series, The Berenstain Bears, Jay Jay The Jet Plane, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat, and Thomas and Friends. Sometimes, the whole ident is shown. Note: WFWA, KCET, WLJT, WYES, WNEO/WEAO, WSKG, and Idaho Public Television used this.

Idents, or bumpers, are audiovisual identity that shows a list of station bumpers that are used on every TV channel, which varies on PBS stations; they are an identification of the channel a user is watching, but sometimes, they show what's coming up next, which are called station idents.
