Aug 28, 2021 · Just to be perfectly clear, the K80 logo gun is a full-fledged Krieghoff K80. It's an engraving style availabile during the early years of the K80, and is often priced somewhat lower than other styles. It is not a Krieghoff Model 32. I have one made in 1988, and two later K80's.

Mar 24, 2013 · I'm no expert, but I have a "Logo" gun from 1986. I believe K made these receivers from about 1980 to the early 1990s. Guns with serial # up to about 20,000 are first generation K-80s with the loop sear springs, slightly smaller hammers, and a screw to hold the ejectors in.

A timeless classic, the K-80 has a proven design requiring few technical modifications in its four decade history stemming from the original K-32. Recently designers envisioned the idea of adding sideplates to provide a “new” classic look of the sideplate and sidelock guns of the past with graceful lines and identical in all other aspects.

Oct 11, 2016 · If I was buying ANY used K-80, a "new logo gun" would be hard to find, I would make sure the barrel or barrels were properly fit to the receiver. Many people just put parts together without having them fit for the proper "head-space".
