The Frankenstein builds are an awesome amalgamation of the two and are happy with the great aftermarket cams offered. After camming the K20 and you want to flow/port the head you'll be more limited by the K20 head as the A2 head has more material to work with.

Jan 26, 2017 · Best way to know if you have an 04-05 or 06-08 RBB head is by measuring the intake valve head diameter, checking the camshafts, and checking circle year stamp. Though, year stamp and the 36mm intake valves are pretty much a dead giveaway of an 06-08 head. 35mm = 04-05 K24A2 (and also all K20A heads) 36mm = 06-08 K24A2 (instant dead giveaway)

Oct 24, 2009 · I found a repair manual online that says the torque specs are 28 ft/lbs. Then all head bolts are torqued 90 degrees, then another 90 degrees. Just double checking the info before I build - seems like 28 ft/lbs ain't much. Cus I know the b series engines were like 90 ft/lbs.

Jun 19, 2017 · If so, RBB is definitely a good sign of being a CL9 engine. The RBB head is the same head used on our K24A2, tho we have head part number variants of RBB-1/2/3. 2-3 being mixed in with 06-08 K24A2's (1mm bigger intake valve, better intake cam, bigger plenum & tb, etc). IIRC the UK Accord Type-S (CL9) is equivalent to our TSX 04-05 K24A2 engine.

Jun 11, 2017 · Welcome to K20a.org. As the OP already stated, it is a bolt on, only the coolant passages has to be done with the right head gasket. We have a rule here, head gasket is the head's gasket . Check it out what the A2 does an post a picture here of it please.
