Juuzou Suzuya (鈴屋 什造, Suzuya Jūzō) is a Special Class Ghoul Investigator. In the past, he went by the name Rei Suzuya (鈴屋 玲, Suzuya Rei). He was first partnered with Yukinori Shinohara, and is now currently the leader of Suzuya Squad. He was first assigned to the 20th ward and was responsible for the investigation of the Binge Eater.

Arata Joker (アラタJOKER, Arata Jōkā) is an advanced version of its predecessors. It has increased power and speed and can more efficiently combat rinkaku ghouls. It is used by Juuzou Suzuya, who gained enough strength to overpower Kurona Yasuhisa in her own kakuja form.

Juuzou Suzuya, originally named Rei Suzuya is a Special Class Ghoul Investigator. Originally raised by the ghoul, Big Mama, as a pet and a scrapper at the Ghoul Restaurant, Juuzou is often sadistic, unpredictable, and extremely violent.

Mar 4, 2018 · Juuzuou didn't defeat Kaneki with the Arata quinque itself, it was just his defensive quinque. His offensive quinque was Jason, that Juuzou possess since he was a rookie and is therefore very skilled at using. The Arata armor gave him resilience on par with a ghoul, and a kakuja koukaku on top of it. The same goes for Abara.

Juzo defeats Kurona and Nashiro Yasuhisa, and Shinohara in his arata armour almost kills Ayato. Kaneki undergoes a transformation, generating an additional kagune after consuming dead ghouls, however he is beaten by Amon.

Kaneki tells Juuzou that he is not going to hold back and Juuzou replies that he has things he needs to protect too. Touka Kirishima prays for Kaneki to win. Kaneki tells himself that this is the only way ghouls and humans will be able to live alongside each other and prepares to fight.
