Jurong Pioneer Junior College’s (JPJC) crest is a fusion of the letters ‘J’ and ‘P’ — representing the initials of our predecessors. This design serves as a tribute to the legacy and values on which JPJC is founded, symbolising our inherited dedication to a passion for learning and the pursuit of personal excellence.

Founded in April 1981, JJ was the 9th junior college in Singapore. In the beginning, the campus had to be hurriedly put together and despite the conversions to house a junior college, “the facilities were grossly inadequate”, according to Mr. Koh Beng Thiam, JJ’s first Principal.
