The Joss JP1 is a test prototype sports car developed by Joss Developments which never made production. The first test vehicle, known as the JT1, was designed, engineered and subsequently launched in 2004.

The 2010 Joss JT1 is a rear-wheel drive supercar by Joss. It appears in Forza Motorsport 3 as part of the Exotic Car Pack, Forza Motorsport 4 and Forza Horizon as part of the Season Pass.

Oct 20, 2019 · The JT1 employed unequal-length double wishbones front and rear, a spaceframe tube chassis and kevlar/carbonfibre body that housed a GM-based pushrod V8 with custom specs. The V8 produced 360kW and 650Nm, the latter delivered from just 2500rpm, and only needed to push 940kg.

It rolled on ultra sticky and low profile 18 inch Pirelli tyres, had a Porsche five speed transaxle transmission and powered through to 100 km/h in three seconds on the way to covering the quarter mile in just 11.7 seconds.

Nov 28, 2024 · The stunning supercar used a naturally aspirated Ford 5.0-Litre V8 and a carbon fibre body enabling the Joss to have an enviable power-to-weight ratio. Early testing of the JT1 had the acceleration time to 100km/h at 3s and the quarter mile at 11.7s where a speed of 209km/h was recorded.
