Joe, in concert with Bill Dorrance, is credited with starting the first ranch roping clinics over 30 years ago. He has a vast amount of knowledge and experience to share with riders who want to improve their skills with a rope and further develop their horses for ranch work.

Joe Wolter, with help from the late, great Bill Dorrance, guides the viewer through building a loop, developing a good swing, head shots, heel shots, angles, positioning, working in a herd, dallying and introducing the horse to roping.

Whether it's in the show ring, on the ranch or conducting clinics, Joe continues to educate himself and expand his abilities. He remains as passionate as ever about horses and his quest to better understand them.

• You must be 18 years of age or older to participate, unless pre-approved by Joe Wolter Clinics. • All horses must have a current negative Coggins Report and out-of-state horses must also have a Health Certificate.

Day sessions with Joe consist of 3 hours in the morning and 2 hours in afternoon. Work on your individual goals in a semi-private setting. Bring one or two horses. Contact us for costs and availability.
