Jodrellia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asphodelaceae, [1] first described as a genus in 1978. [2] The genus is native to eastern + south-central Africa , and has two recognized species.

Rhizome much abbreviated, 2-4 mm long, and 4-10 mm in diameter. Some roots enlarged to fusiform tubers interspersed with fibrous roots. Leaves 4-10, the longest up to 50 cm. Peduncles 1-3, erect simple, about 2/3 the length of the leaves. Racemes ± densely many-flowered. Capsule 3-lobed, with 2 seeds per locule.
