Also, when the Jawa hood is on, it darkens the face area allowing the lights to look brighter. But yes, bigger would be better too.

Jul 6, 2016 · The recipe used by a lot of Jawa costumers is Rit Dye 2 parts Dark Brown to 1 part Sunshine Orange. Used it myself to dye natural monks cloth. I also did something like that mask, but I used a street hockey goalie mask instead. I didn't think a costume mask would be durable enough. There is a run for a Jawa blaster in the project runs.

May 17, 2010 · Re: Jawa on a Shoestring I decided to nix the USB lights, the wire was way too thin, but I found some book lights at the .99 cent store and they use 3, 1.5v button cell batteries, as opposed to using a couple 9 volts, which reduced the weight considerably. Now I just need to add the elastic band and the faux fur and the mask will be done.

Apr 11, 2008 · I'm not sure if this has been said, but when I made my daughter's jawa mask, I used basic window screen, with two layers to really hide her eyes. She can still see fine through it, and it's darker that way.

Aug 10, 2024 · I don’t like that the Jawa’s face (in profile) sticks out beyond their hood. Also their eyes are almond shape instead of the round globes that left us wondering if they had to wear some eye protection or those were their eyes.
