Jan Margo Henne (born August 11, 1947), also known by her married name Jan Hawkins, is an American former competition swimmer, Olympic champion, and former world record-holder. At the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, she received four medals including two golds.

A breaststroke finalist in the Nationals starting in 1963 and in the 1964 Olympic Trials, Jan shifted to Santa Clara in the fall of 1967 and was a sensation in the 1968 Indoor Nationals with 4 gold medals in the 100 yard breaststroke and the 3 American Record relays, plus third in the 200 yard breaststroke and 200 yard individual medley.

Jan Henne started out as a breaststroke swimmer but became an Olympic freestyle champion, although she never won a U.S. national title at freestyle. Apart from the four events in which she won medals at the 1968 Olympics, she also swam in the heats of the medley relay.
