Aug 25, 2020 · I am thinking if someone could help me on my project - Upgrading a pair of Jamo D 265 C speakers on the cheap! While I know you can’t make a cheap speaker great, certainly we could make these better without spending a fortune, all while learning something along the way.

Jul 14, 2008 · Hi, I've had my Jamo D265s for about 13 years now, I'm essentially still happy with them but want something more modern that take up less room. I'm running a Yamaha DSP-A592 amplifier and I'm not running any surround equipment at the moment.

Short out (bypass) the protection device (the blue disc). It may have gone high resistance. Thanks for the tip. I dod short it out, didn’t seem to make any difference. 😕. The only other thing worth doing is to replace the 2.2uF and 3.3uF NP electrolytic capacitors.
