Dec 6, 2021 · The Jennings J-22 pistol was designed by Jennings Firearms in 1978 and marketed as a self-defense .22LR pocket pistol. Although Jennings made several other firearms, the J-22 became the company’s most well-known product and not for the best of reasons.

Does anyone know if the J22 and J25 share the same frame? I've always thought they were identical, but a friend recently told me that you can't print the J22 frame for J25 parts, because they're different.

Aug 28, 2021 · It's for sure harder to shoot the J frame .22s than the 6 inch K frames my brother and I shot years ago. ... Definitely agree, especially in double action mode. I can do much much better in single action mode.

May 19, 2022 · my dad gave me this gun as he has no use for it. My first time taking it down and saw this on the frame. Is this actual damage or is this normal?

Sep 1, 2009 · The slide, frame, trigger, and take down button on a J-22 are likely Zamack #2 (SAE 902) die cast alloy; unless they used a cheaper Zinc based material. J-22's were apparently not made and marketed in stainless steel, as it is a more expensive casting process. J-22 quality was "all over the map".

Holes are sized perfectly for a press fit. May need reamed to actual size if you have trouble assembling. Fcg pin holes are 1/16" and 3/32". Good luck and happy printing!!

Aug 27, 2022 · Still broke after around 50 rounds and was unreliable as hell (light strikes, and failure to eject, common Jennings j22 problems) but it's actually happening. The goal was to make the cheapest parts kit build out there.
