WGS84 vs. NAD83 vs. ITRF: Differences | Point One Nav
Jun 3, 2024 · ITRF08 Is the International Terrestrial Reference Frame of 2008 that improved on ITRF05. It is based on reprocessed solutions of four geodetic techniques—Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI), satellite laser ranging (SLR), GPS, and Doppler Orbitography by Radiopositioning Integrated on Satellite (DORIS), spanning up to 29 years of ...
ITRF | Itrf2008 - IGN
ITRF2008 is the new realization of the International Terrestrial Reference System. Following the procedure already used for the ITRF2005 formation, the ITRF2008 uses as input data time series of station positions and EOPs provided by the Technique Centers of the four space geodetic techniques (GPS, VLBI, SLR, DORIS).

The objective of this web site is to distribute the International Terrestrial Reference Frame (ITRF) products. ITRF94, ITRF96, ITRF97, ITRF2000, ITRF2005, ITRF2008, ITRF2014, ITRF2020 and ITRF2020-u2023 solutions are available for download. It also contains the description and list of all the IERS stations.
International Terrestrial Reference System and Frame
New ITRF solutions are produced every few years, using the latest mathematical and surveying techniques to attempt to realize the ITRS as precisely as possible. Due to experimental error, any given ITRF will differ very slightly from any other realization of the ITRF.
ITRF2014, WGS84 and NAD83 | GEOG 862: GPS and GNSS for …
In their new definitions—NAD83 (2011) and WGS84 (G1762)—differ up to one or two meters within the continental United States. On the other hand, ITRF08, ITRF2014 and WGS84 (G1762) are virtually identical if their epochs (moment in time) are the same. The typical standard epoch for both are WGS84 (G1762) and ITRF08 is 2005.0.
