Sep 9, 2023 · So early on in my playthrough after picking up my first ingot, I googled ingots to see if they were worth holding on to. I found a couple of articles like this one, which stated that later on in the game you can actually use them to upgrade your equipment at the camps 'Unlockable Work Bench'. As such I have been hoarding every ingot I find.
