May 22, 2003 · Find either a wrecked 91-94 awd legacy (perferably a turbo model) or a 93-01 impreza and get it for parts. There are a lot of little things that if you miss will cost you an arm and a leg. If you are seriously considering this swap i have the rear end out of a 93 turbo sedan for sale including everything but the tranny and rear diff.

Sep 5, 2001 · The WRX shares the same Main Fuse Box with a N/A Impreza and thats is why it has the fuse slot marked FWD. If you look real close, the slot is empty on the WRX. The WRX has a VTD A/T which gives it true AWD and it cannot be put into FWD.

If you are using the space save spare or any other tire that is a different circumference than the others. You can also use the fuse if your transmission is failing and binding in tight turns.
