Nov 11, 2014 · Seems to imply that iFrame interval is only relevant to Variable bit rate and that the cam is sending a complete image for each frame when it is doing Constant bit rate. Bottom line, it sounds like I should be using Variable instead of Constant bit rate for cams whose job is to record the movements of people.

Jul 24, 2014 · Make iframe on the camera the same as the frame rate, so if it's 20, make iframe 20. Try increasing the max bitrate, maybe to 6144 (lower compression means less CPU work needed). Last thing it could be is your network, so you Task Manager, Resource Manager to see the network on Win7 of just the performance tab in Win8.

When you put them outdoors, etc. you really need to protect them. I have taken my Avermedias and put them in Hubbell ( Nema 4X) enclosures....

Sep 16, 2014 · When I open the application the stream is perfect, however the next morning it staggers to the point where it is almost unwatchable. It appears to stagger on the iFrames. I have tried different bitrates (VBR and CBR) from 2048 - 11264, and changed iFrame to 1/2, 1:1 and 2:1 of the FPS. Closing and reopening the application resolves the issue.
