If the income or assets is not sufficient then a joint sponsor is necessary. That person also completes an I-864. If that person is married and the spouse has income, then they both complete an I-864A.

According to the I864 form, an intending immigrant (my husband) does NOT need to file a I864A; however, I read from posts from other websites, saying they received RFE, asking the intending immigrant to fill out I864A. so should I include his annual income and ask him to fill the I 864A.

The I-864A must be filed when there is a cosponsor who is a household member. The household member is the one who starts the process of filing the I-864A. Mar 1, 2018 · Yes, it appears that you need the I-864A ... talk to an attorney ... filing the I-=130/485 for mom may not be a good idea. The new government isn't being as friendly as the old one when it come to 'bending' the tourist visa rules. Have a Skype consultation with an attorney.

Jan 31, 2011 · If you are including your husband's income for purposes of meeting the requirement, then listed on the I-864 itself and no I-864A is needed. The I-864 A would be if your husband was al;ready here as a permanent resident, you are sponsoring someone else, and you are including your husband's income for purposes of sponsoring that OTHER person.
