Höör (formerly spelled Hör, Swedish pronunciation: [ˈhœːr]) is a locality and the seat of Höör Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 7,865 inhabitants in 2010. [1] The town was previously known as Hørg (in the 12th century), Hørgh (in the 15th century), and later Hør and Hör.

Höör Municipality (Höörs kommun) is a municipality in the central part of Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Höör. The present municipality was formed in 1969 through the merger of "old" Höör with the municipalities of Norra Frosta, Snogeröd and Tjörnarp parish from the dissolved Sösdala Municipality.
