Aug 30, 2015 · Alright, I've basically decided that a 450 will fit me better. However, I've found a very nice 04 YFZ for sale. It's the same price as the TRX, however I could negotiate him a few hundred cheaper. I'm a Honda guy at heart so this would be tough for me. What do yall think? I know this is a Honda forum, however please give me a non-bias response.

Jan 22, 2014 · I know this is a Honda forum and as you can see, I'm a die hard Honda guy, but after having the opportunity to work on and ride all the 450's, I would not hesitate to buy a Kawasaki KFX450. It is not the fastest of the 450's, in fact in stock trim it's near the bottom of the list in terms of power, but it does handle like a dream.

Oct 15, 2024 · the honda carrier is STILL available - for $300, but you want the honda BEARINGS, they are not double row or side loaded check out the engine/tranny by putting it in first, open the clutch a little, and then go back to neutral. on a honda, the tell tale sign it is a honda is that hondas have the best 'snick' into N from 1 or 2.

Nov 30, 2016 · 2002 the S and ES lettering is dropped from the 450 Foreman and they adopt the "new" style lettering, same as the Rancher/Rubicon. ex. TRX450S becomes TRX450FM 2004 we see another new letter. G for GPScape, Honda's in dash GPS system.

Apr 6, 2010 · hey helmut, i was wondering what you said about the decompression assembly on the camshaft. my 01 400 ex has that decompression assembly on the stock cam along with that little bity decompression plunger and spring and if you lose that little bity pin, the quad wont even start. apparently that little plunger reacts with the decompression mechanism on the stock cam and slightly opens the intake ...
